Alumni Connections and an Interview

Well how cool is this, I've been offered a job for two weeks near Seattle in Washington, that would take place mid July for two weeks. The head of the theatre is a guy who also graduated from New Paltz. He called me today to talk about the position and where I'll be in August to make sure the dates are ok. And he's offered it to me, in large part because of our both graduating from NP, and because he said Papa Joe gave me a great rec, woo hoo and thank you Papa Joe (a former professor of ours), and also because my resume is good. Oh yeah, rocking the combo platter! And keeping it in the family, if you will, is always a cool thing! Alumni Connections, sweet!

The thing that needs to be worked out now is housing ... it's not in the theatre's budget to afford a hotel so they're looking into what they might be able to do (find a room in someone's house type thing), and I'm going to look and see if I know anyone else out there ... we'll see what happens.

ALSO:
My "re-scheduled" Cap Rep interview is tomorrow morning at 10am, wish me luck!
