Full Circle

And The Blog of No comes full circle!
One year later ... NOt much has changed, ha ha ha!  :)
But I did make it through the whole year blogging even if I didn't blog everyday, or have each post be an actual application or NO.
Got a few yeses throughout the year - that was pretty awesome!
Still waiting on a "real" full time style job!
Still waiting to feel like life is really in full swing again - since coming home from the UK, which is when it sort of went on 'hold' ... sigh!
NOt bad for a year I suppose.
And for the moment, that is all!

Should I keep posting NOw that the year is over?
We shall see.

Tomorrow is officially one year!
Once again I ponder if this blog achieved what it set out to achieve ... or something else entirely ... or NOthing at all???!!!

Hmmmm......where did the year go?!

Job - Follow up ...

So I've just done a follow up email with the potential Proctors Media Works Teaching Position.  We'll see what happens.

And yesterday I learned, from a friend, that there will be two "Education Coordinator" type jobs opening this summer (or shortly there after), one at Cap Rep and one at Proctors.  Boy I'd love a full time job!!!  Gotta figure out how to apply ... are they even posted anywhere yet ... what are the required skills???

Gotta get some info.

Stone Soup Summer '12?

I just filled out, or rather replied to an email, information for this coming summer and Stone Soup Theatre in Seattle.  We'll see.  As my friend is moving over the summer, and I don't know too many other people there, I'm not sure I can do it ... housing and transportation and all that ... but we'll see.

I also suggested my cousin for a summer assistant, as he's expressed interest in Seattle in the past.  :)

Who knows, perhaps we could work together!

Mask Update

38 are now in progress - in other words, all of the Greek Chorus Masks are at their 1/2 way or "finished" stages!  ("Finished is in quotes because they haven't been painted yet, and they still need to have the elastic attached, but they're creation in paper mache is fini!)

This leaves the 3 Grae Sisters masks to be constructed as well as Medusa's ... which reminds me I need to order those reticulated wooden snakes for that mask (headdress).

Onwords and upwords!

Epic Fail?

I don't know if it's epic, or even if it's a fail really ... but there certainly aren't 365 posts and I'm 6 days away from the full year mark.  Hmmm...

NOt to mention that the posts on here are more of a generic theatrical nature - from a theatre professional striving for "success" in this bloody field!  And NOt so much applications and the "No'" ... though there are plenty of them on here!  :o)

So ... Epic Fail?

Holy Moly it is 2012 ... and what have I done over the past year???  Oiy me!

On a mask making note ... 29 are in progress and 10 are complete up to the painting and attaching elastic phase.  Woot woot!
