Still Searching for a Script

Oh my gosh ... it is proving VERY difficult to find this years Middle School production. Arrrrrrrrrgh!!! It's also SUPER hard when you come across a title of a show that sounds good but you've no way to preview the script without purchasing one. Granted it's not the end of the world to purchase a script, but how many is one supposed to purchase ... why not have a way where teachers can sign in and read scripts without having to purchase them?

Some site do have preview sections of their scripts, and with some the previews are longer than others. I've now read several plays - or most of them at any rate - and a few very brief previews and a few more descriptions.

We'll see what happens/what I find. :o)

  1. How much are scripts? And can an old GCS alumni purchase one for the middle school?

  2. Well yes you could, but if you did I'd have you buy the script for me and not the school ... ha ha ha!!! But also, no need to because I could purchase them and then take it out of the budget, leaving the scripts with the Drama Club afterwards. Problem is, I don't want to "deal" with all of that ... plus the time. I need to find a script sooner rather than later ... so ... I'm sure I"ll find something soon. Actually, Aunt K found one in the category I'm looking - Greek and doable by MS kids, with the ability to use Masks - and I can read most of it online ... am doing so now.

This answer became a mini paragraph without my meaning it too ... haha
